I’ve always been super interested in business. While other kids were dreaming of being teachers and doctors, I dreamed of owning my own grocery store… how glamorous!! Fast forward a few years and I got to start choosing business electives at school, and this is where it all started. I then went on to study business, commerce & accounting at Uni (I didn’t quite get the degree, but that’s a story for another time), then women in business and a certificate of business consulting.

Outside of study, I’ve been super fortunate to have spent almost 14 years working in a very female dominant career space. This is where I met my fearless mentor, who has shown me exactly what it is like to be a woman in business. The pros, the cons, and how to navigate a world that often doesn’t take women in small business seriously.

This space sparked my interest in women-led businesses and fostered a love for helping owners understand the ins and outs. How to take their passion and back it up with the knowledge to make informed decisions, and the confidence to ask questions. Which leads us here…
